Wow, you hate to hear about a phone breaking after such a short period of time. I would hope there was a warranty unless it was purchase from another source other than Straight Talk or Walmart. I know some like to save even more money doing it that way, but that usually ends up costing you more. Still, you won't hear any complaints from me. I think the choice of plans is simple and will take care of everyone which ever one you choose, and the variety of phones to pick from seems to stay current with the competition. So far so good.

So, I've been seeing some commercials recently about other prepaid companies offer unlimited plans as well, like Boost. When I check them out, they have have those extra fees that those of us are trying to get away from, like an activation fee. If you average that back into the costs, it starts to get expensive again. What steered my to Straight Talk in the first place was that they don't have any of these excess fees. You just buy the phone, purchase your plan and you're good to go.

I have been a huge fan of Straight Talk's unlimited option. With my contract carrier, I was stubborn for a while and instead of paying extra for the unlimited texting, I would end up going some months and have to pay more money. I like that now I always know my bill will be $45 a month, no hidden fees or overage charges to worry about.

One of the above questions that the article asked was about whether or not Straight Talk has a phone option with an mp3 player. I use my phone to play music as well, so this makes the Straight Talk deal even more enticing. I think I'm switching as soon as my contract is up.

I have never understood the contract cell phone companies reasoning behind punishing you for buying more minutes. 45 or 35 cents per minute if you go over your contract is nuts.

Wow, didn't know that NET10 offered such a variety of plan options. I'm actually doing the research for my boss. Her phone is like her mobile office on the go. Always on it and since I see the bill, every month there is some kind of overage charge. I suggested she go with the LG900G and the Unlimited plan. I know she is going to be so happy paying only $50 every 30 days compared to the $120 she pays now with her contract phone. I may even get a raise!

I was looking to save money and started with our cell phones. It seems we really spend way too much on contract phones. The first thing we did was look at how many minutes actually get used each month. Turns out we are buying more than we use. Decided it was finally time to take a look at prepaid cell phones. In the past, it may not have been considered a good option, but with all the improvements made and pricing and plans available, it's worth a peak. Discovered NET10 is all about making things better for their customer, so different than how our contract carrier did. They do offer a wide selection of phone types and you'll definitely find a plan that suits your usage needs. You can even switch between the plans as your needs change without a penalty. Their coverage is nationwide and uses either AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile, just depends on the best one in your area.

It's sure is nice to see there are so many choices in prepaid cell phone companies. More people are saying enough already and making the switch to prepaid to save money. I would like to say that Straight Talk is also one to consider. They offer some really nice phones, including two new smart phones. The plan choices offer you everything you need for less than half the cost of contract phones. The unlimited for $45 every 30 days is great for the heavy user. For those who have lower usage needs, the $30 all you need plan is perfect. Everything you need without a contract....just love that!
