How good is the Straight Talk Coverage?

Straight Talk Wireless Coverage is the same as Verizon Prepaid coverage.  This is not the same as Verizon Contract reception.


In mountainous areas there are a lot of dead spots where cell phone signals do not work very well.  With a Verizon Contract (postpaid) plan you will roam onto other carriers.  This depends on your plan also.

Your Straight Talk phone will not roam off of the Verizon network onto another carrier.

Where Verizon has really good coverage you will probably never notice the difference but if coverage is just okay and you are driving while using your phone you will drop more calls with Straight Talk than with a Verizon Contract phone.

Straight Talk $30 plan
There is another Straight Talk plan that is $30 a month.  You have up to 1,000 minutes and 1,000 texts and 30 meg of data touse per month.  If you use all your minutes that would be only 3.3 cents a minute.

No contract Required
Did I mention there is no contract required with Straight Talk?  You will have to purchase a Straight Talk Phone and pay for the monthly phone card. When the card runs out you can give up your service or add another card.  You can add another card before your service runs out and your service will Stack.
